Our Management Team
Anthony Insinna, President
 Like many twelve year old boys, Anthony Insinna began mowing lawns for many of his neighbors. Unlike most, he coupled that simple service with a true entrepreneurial spirit, and built a profitable business. At the age of 16, Anthony hired his first employee, and by age 19, he owned a fleet of trucks and employed fourteen people. Through the proverbial “trial by fire,” Anthony quickly learned to successfully manage every aspect of his landscape business, including operations, marketing, human resources and accounting.
Recognizing the need to complement his experience with formal education, Anthony received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both with honors, from the University at Buffalo. While attending college and still managing his business, he partnered with his two sisters in 1992 to open their first child care center. The center’s success prompted Anthony to sell his interest in the landscape business in 1994, allowing him to devote his time to Doodle Bugs! and begin to build this unique family business.
As President, Anthony has grown Doodle Bugs! from a small child care center to Buffalo’s leading child care provider. Over the past fifteen years, Anthony has expanded his focus on meeting high-quality child care standards to include marketing, staff training, profitability, facility construction, and the integration of technology into the management of each center. He directly attributes his success to the hands-on management style, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial drive he embraced when building his first business.
Now at the age of 35, Anthony is ready to expand Doodle Bugs! by adding new company owned centers in Western New York and offering franchises to qualified individuals. He is currently building the Doodle Bugs! corporate infrastructure by integrating professionals with backgrounds in Human Resource Management, Education, Marketing, Operations and Real Estate Development. The Doodle Bugs! corporate staff exemplifies Anthony’s dedication to providing quality child care; their commitment to excellence insures that the integrity of this family business will remain intact as the company continues to grow under Anthony’s leadership.
